Jeffrey Harris: What is the other movie you worked on recently with Amanda Righetti, Dangerous Attraction? Amanda Righetti is one of the leads on another hit CBS series, The Mentalist. And to go with the comic book movie connection, she’s reportedly working on The Avengers film.
Will Estes: Oh yeah, that’s actually news to me. I didn’t even know she was, but that makes perfect sense. Dangerous Attraction, I think I was mistaken. I actually thought that’s what they were changing the name to. I believe that’s just internationally. Here in the United States, I believe the name is still Shadow.
Jeffrey Harris: How did you like working with Amanda Righetti?
Will Estes: Her and I are friends. I love Amanda. She’s just awesome. She’s a talent and an amazing girl. She kind of said, “Hey, do you want to do this with me?” And I said, “Absolutely. I absolutely want to do this with you.” It’s based on a true story of a woman that was stalked. It’s a great piece for Amanda and I get to play someone a little different. I get to play the guy that gets a little bit fixated on Amanda Righetti which is understandable for a lot of guys but I take it to a weird level. I’m looking forward to that and it was great working with Amanda too.

Help for Carissa

As you guys know, I don’t typically post non-Amanda things here, but this is really important and I’d like to ask for your help. Some of you may already be familiar with Jaylen who started Jaylen’s Challenge to try and help stop bullying in schools. In addition to his mission to stop bullying, he is currently trying to help his friend Carissa Bodner who was in a horrific accident in June when she was struck by a drunk driver who was driving 60+ mph. She sustained a multitude of injuries including, but not limited to, brain damage, blood on and swelling of her brain, damage to her spleen and her right eye, her jaw was broken jaw in 4 places and has been wired shut, broken arm, broken leg, fractures in her pelvis and tailbone, torn ligaments on both sides of her right knee, road rash across her entire back and the list goes on. She has also had suffered from pneumonia and seizures due to the accident and injuries sustained.
Donations would be great, but I know times are tough and not everyone has the means to help financially and that’s perfectly fine. If you can help by spreading the word and the link to Jaylen’s Carissa page through your blogs, Twitters and Facebooks though, that would be really great because it will allow for more people to hear about Carissa’s struggles and hopefully bring in more help for her. You can also help by simply saying a prayer for her or sending her a sweet message on Facebook to brighten her day. I’m sure she would really appreciate all the kind thoughts and good vibes that you guys can help send her way.

As kick-butt agent Grace Van Pelt on The Mentalist, Amanda Righetti is always in command of the situation. But in real life, the star admits in this week’s issue of OK! that, for her first-ever red carpet moment, she was far from calm, cool or collected.
“I had a meltdown,” she reveals to OK!. “It was the season one wrap party of The O.C. [she played Hailey Nichol]. I was given bad styling advice.”
Ten minutes before leaving the house, Amanda was forced to bail on the dress she was loaned. “I ended up wearing something from my own closet. It wasn’t perfect, but I made do.”
These days, glamour comes easier. Amanda says her own sense of style has “matured. I appreciate the saying ‘less is more.’ ”
OK! asked Amanda to model two takes on red carpet beauty: one, fresh and modern, the other, retro and sexy. Of course, she looks flawless in both.

“Last year we had a masseuse come to the house and had a nice dinner,” remembered Mentalist actress Amanda Righetti, who didn’t have set Valentine plans yet. When it comes to green living, “We do our part,” she said, noting that her husband drives a Prius and they have switched to CFL lighting. “We have solar panels on our house in Hawaii, and we’re working on getting them on our house here in L.A.” The reduction in her electric bill is “minimal, but it makes a difference.”
